The focus of the 3rd Smart Lighting conference & Showcase will be on the state of the business models and best practices in intelligent solid state [SSL] lighting, enabled by and in addition to the emergence of HB-LED and OLED technology. New to the equation will be the impact of networked ICT solutions and systems on the further enhancement of efficiency and management of smart lighting systems and solutions. The concept of “lighting on-demand” will be presented in a variety of applications. Additionally the important role of enabling new technologies, such as of photonics & electronics, will be highlighted to benefit the further development of smart lighting applications in the future. Special parallel sessions will be held on business cases, technology and design. Markets addressed with be in commercial lighting, residential lighting, public Lighting. Together these aspect constitute an event, which is unique in its kind.
Objectives of the conference
The event aims to bring together high level representatives from all along the [extended] lighting value chain, from the Industry, governmental institutes, applied technology and from end user markets, to present and learn from the latest technology achievements and business practices. The event will also be perfectly tuned for networking.

Demo facilities will provide and enhance the development of this marketplace. Delegates of the conference will have free access and ample opportunity to visit the showcase. Also all adjacent social events, such as receptions and lunch buffets will take place at the showcase area.
